Hort Innovation is a platinum sponsor of the 2026 XI International Symposium on Irrigation of Horticultural Crops — presented by Agriculture Victoria, the Instituto de Agricultura Sostenible (Spain) and the University of Melbourne under the ISHS.
As part of this partnership, a melon grower will have the opportunity to take part in an industry-focused workshop and technical tour at Tatura SmartFarm, Victoria, from 18–23 January 2026.
We are giving all melon growers an opportunity to attend — simply tell us in 25 words or less why you wish to attend (email: comms@melonsaustralia.org.au). Entries close 11 November, and we will then announce who has been chosen to attend.
The ticket provides access to:
🌱 Research and development sessions and presentations (Tuesday, 20 January)
🚌 A technical tour of the Goulburn Valley (Wednesday, 21 January)
No transport or accommodation costs will be covered.
The workshop will explore “Sustaining future orchard profitability in years with reduced access to irrigation water”, covering AI applications, advanced irrigation technologies, and innovative agronomic practices.
